London-based British-Lebanese lawyer, Amal Alamuddin, legally married actor George Clooney in a civil ceremony in Venice on Monday, September 29th. This "official ceremony" followed a three day celebrity-filled extravaganza at the Aman Canal Grande resort in the centre of Venice.
Amal, who specializes in international law, criminal law, human rights, and extradition, gained fame representing WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange, while George Clooney starred in the hit series FACTS OF LIFE.
