I was watching the Associated Press Live Stream of the Oscar's Red Carpet - which was such a non-event - but the host did manage to get Rita Ora to stop and chat. It was so weird.

Rita spent the first minute talking about Anna Wintour and how she was so nervous because she was walking behind the Vogue editor. I found the exchange bizarre, until I realized she was wearing Marchesa, dating Tommy Hilfiger's son, and sat next to Anna Wintour at The Weinstein Company’s Academy Awards Nominees Dinner in Los Angeles on Friday night wearing another Marchesa gown.

Clever girl that Rita. Someone's making a play for a Vogue cover.

Quick, name three Rita Ora songs. Exactly.

My thoughts on Rita aside, I love her whole look. This navy Marchesa with  gold detailing looks amazing, Rita said she helped design it.

The night honoured singer/actor/civil and human rights activist Harry Belafonte (arriving above with his wife Pamela Frank) with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 2014 Governors Awards.

Harry's speech was on point. They don't make black actors/celebrities like this anymore. I wish they had allowed him to make this speech at the Oscar broadcast.
